TASK: Students will be able to chant a familiar song in a round in smaller groups with consistent tempo and accurate meter.

PROCEDURES:
T: Directs students to pat tempo beat (TB) while he sings the 1st verse of "This Old Man"
T: Cues students to pat TB with "one two and/pat pat..."
T: Sings 1st verse of "This Old Man" in D Major (DM) in duple meter
"This old man he played one, he played knick-knack on my thumb, with a knick-knack pattywhack give a dog a bone, this old man came rolling home."
S: Pat TB while teacher sings
T: Warms up students by singing cadential melody (CM) in DM in duple meter on words while patting TB by singing "Echo Me"

T: Cues students to echo

T: Sings CM in DM in duple meter on words a second time while patting TB
